On September 26th our school will be hosting a literacy night for students and families. At this event students and families will learn about reading strategies they can do at home to help them become better readers. Each family that comes will be given the opportunity to make reading activities together and take them home to use. At the start of the night, our whole community will gather in the gym to play bingo for books! I would love the opportunity to give away high-quality books as prizes to our families. It is our hope to instill a love for reading and access to great books is one way we can do this!
