Flexible seating allows my students to make the best decisions for how they learn. I try to have the students move around the room and find a place that they feel will be the most productive for them to complete their work. Giving the students options is such a motivator for them. When I give them the opportunity to make important decisions about their learning, I find that their engagement level goes up, their overall work stamina increases and they are far more productive. I want my students to feel that the classroom is a welcoming and safe environment for them to learn. I want them to feel that they can be successful in my classroom!
