My students learn best by working with their hands. When students discover learning they retain information better. My job is to cultivate learning experiences that will last a lifetime. Hands on activities can be preserved for many years to come using the laminating pouches. My students love to express their learning by drawing using markers and chart paper. These are a few simple items that will make a world of difference for my students' first grade school year. Some students may not be able to use their "words" but will have the ability to express their ideas through drawing, and manipulating different materials throughout the classroom.
