Having a Melissa and Doug Puppet Theater and Puppets in my Kindergarten classroom will help my students learn through dramatic play. They can use the theater and puppets to retell stories that we learned in class and they can also make up their own stories. Through dramatic play in the classroom, they will become confident speakers and actors in front of their peers and teachers. Dramatic play correlates with our school wide fine arts program philosophy and will help the students in all areas of learning. At our school we believe including fine arts in academic programs helps students to become well rounded life long learners.

About my class
