The gifting of these books would be a blessing. As an veteran teacher (aged 55...yikes) I remember my elementary teachers reading aloud and sharing their favorite books. I also remember the wonder of visiting the library each week and being able to check out books to read at home. Our school model is small group instruction, so these books will be used in small groups of five students. I've selected all time favorite books that have often been made in movies. My hope is that the children learn to appreciate books in written form..always so much BETTER than the movie. Thank you in advance for your support in the lives of my young learners.
