We will utilize communication tools on the iPad to connect with students in other countries and to enhance classroom instruction. Each year my class partners with a school in a Spanish-speaking country. They write to their pen pals each month, sharing their interests, culture and community. We send videos, pictures, and information about our city/state/country and the students love learning about a different way of life. We will use tools such as Explain Everything, Reflector, FaceTime, Skype and Google Docs to communicate and connect with students around the world. Students will be able to use the iPad to create content and show their learning using 21st century skills.
