My students need to feel comfortable in order to maximize their learning experiences. Flexible seating will allow them to do this. They will be able to get the stimulation needed while staying focused. This will limit the feelings of student frustration and encourage participation. I want to offer any accommodations that will help my students succeed. This is my 32nd year to teach, and I have seen trends come and go. Expecting 8 and 9 year olds to sit still for a prolonged amount of time is unfair. Flexible seating will help allow my students attain their goals. We will Reach for the Stars! There are no limits to what my students can do if they are given the chance. My wish is to make their third grade year a success.
