I am fortunate because my kindergartners love coming to school. Their number one goal in September is to “learn to read”. I would love to capitalize on this fact by motivating them with age appropriate nonfiction books to read. My students come from a public school in Michigan. Unfortunately, the declining economy has really hit our district hard and tightened our budget. It has made it difficult to add any resources to our classrooms.
