With the addition of some much needed supplies the hope is that our guidance classroom will provide students with a positive, safe, and inclusive environment where they can thrive. In guidance class students work on developing social, emotional, and academic skills. Ranging from how to be a good listener to career development and awareness. The rug will create some structure for K-2 classroom seating which helps a great deal with classroom management! The class sets of markers will be used frequently by students to complete creative projects and assignments. And the emotions materials will assist students in the development of their emotional intelligence.
