The adventure history books that I hope to provide for my students will help them learn about exciting times in world history, while secretly deep-diving into reading. All adults remember reading a book where you got to choose your own adventure. These books were often always checked out and fought over by students. I'm hoping that choose your own adventure history books will help me infuse language arts teaching with new excitement level and heightened student interest. With some of the books, I hope to have students read in groups and then compare their outcome with the class afterward. This can turn reading into a game. Learning should feel like playing. Please help me reach all students in my classroom and invite them into the excitement of reading.
