We use Chromebooks for reading programs every day, and the students love to listen to the programs but can barely hear their individual program when there are 16 other kids on their Chromebooks. If we had headphones for each child, they would be able to focus more on their work and be more engaged. Sometimes the teachers have a group to work with, and it is difficult to get the groups to focus when they hear the music and learning games coming from their classmates’ Chromebooks. They love these programs, but they are not as effective as they could be without the ability to block out other distractions and help them only hear their work.
