Children with speech and language delays require specialized materials to help them meet their speech and language goals. Especially children who use picture communication systems to communicate! Picture exchange communication system (PECS) is a means of communication for nonverbal students that works best when the pictures are in color to best represent what the student is communicating. This color printer will allow me to create PECs that meet the individual needs of each student. A color printer is also useful for creating engaging activities for all types of children and allows me to utilize my creativity to create games and activities that match the needs of my students!
