The materials I’m hopeful to receive may seem like a basic need. However, my students are often unable to afford these on their own. I plan to distribute these materials amongst our middle school children so they can organize and become more responsible for their personal growth. My students are excited to learn when they are encouraged and feel cared about. In the beginning of the year they are excited and feel motivated to learn. I want to capture them early and maintain the momentum throughout the whole school year! The children will use the notebooks to strengthen their writing abilities. Also, the children can use the notebooks as personal journals to reflect on what they have learned. These children might act like adults, but they are just as deserving as any other child.
