Students start and end their day sitting at a desk; the older students switch classrooms but ultimately end up back at a different desk. These students have nowhere to sit and stretch their bodies, or to sit in a different position. The students at my school come into the library one time a week for at least 40 minutes and right now they come into the library and sit on the carpeted floor, the benches, or the tables. The products that I have selected will give my students the chance to pick their seat so that they will get comfortable and be able to read their books without fidgeting and getting restless. When I have noticed the students sitting on the floor, they are typically leaning up against something and always moving positions, but with bean bags students will be able to sit close on the floor while being comfortable. Throughout their library time, they get restless and uncomfortable while sitting on the floor, benches, or tables. With so many students in the library at one time, bean bag chairs will give me an opportunity to move them around to make more space for other seating and will be easily to store when I don't have classes.
