In the 21st century, students will need the skill set to be self-learners and self-starters. Google has replaced the encyclopedia. Discussions take place on online boards. Citizenship is reflected in a digital platform. My classroom will help support students in stepping into this new and innovative style of teaching and learning. As my lower-income students may not afford the technological items needed to thrive in this new environment, I can purchase minor items to take the pressure off of them. Students will learn through instructional videos that tailor to their learning pace. If they write notes slower than others, they can take the time to pause videos as they continue processing new content.
