The items I have selected will allow students who take Small Business Ownership, Introduction to Marketing and Sports and Entertainment Marketing the ability to create company logos, marketing campaigns, and meet basic needs of note taking. They will be able to use play dough to think outside the box and solve current classroom problems to get them thinking about issues they face daily that can be resolved with a new business or new product. This project will provide my students with the pencils, erasers, markers, flip chart paper, play dough, glue sticks the supplies necessary to to take notes, create new products, and develop an way to market a new business. Desktop presentation boards will allow students to collaborate on tasks and present them to the larger group enhancing their communication and presentation skills. At the end of the semesters students will market a new product they have designed, develop a business plan for a company they are passionate about and/or develop a marketing plan for a sports/entertainment event of their choosing all thanks to these new resources.
