CPR in Schools will give our students access to learn a life-saving skill, as well as strengthen their knowledge of health and science. This project will allow us to purchase CPR materials, so we will be able to incorporate CPR in schools and train our students. This will be done for all students by partnering with our PE coaches during their class time, resulting in our entire school population becoming CPR trained. Becoming CPR certified promotes confidence building, enhances safety, and allows them the ability to contribute to our community in a mature manner. This year during Physical Education and Health Class, our students aka "rarebirds" will be taught how to save someone's life with the use of CPR. After successfully completing this training, each student will earn a key ring containing a personal CPR mask. It is a known fact that students as young as 8 years old can learn how to perform CPR successfully. Our goal is to train each and every student. Remember YOU are never to young to save a life! Our students are excited and motivated to participate in this program. Please consider helping our Rarebirds learn to save lives!
