These materials will give my students a hands-on STEM experience. The students I teach are future mathematicians and scientists, and the skills they learn will help pique their interest in many applied science and biomedical engineering type jobs. By donating to this project, you will help my students engage in a thought-provoking, highly challenging and informative simulation. This unit will expose my students to concepts not usually taught before middle and high school. This opportunity may then have a ripple effect, as students can be more selective with their elective classes in middle and high school. Please help my students experience the role scientists play in creating vaccines and antidotes for deadly diseases.
