These materials will help my students learn through listening. We currently have headphone cords that are tangled up and shortened, earpieces broken but still usable, wires coming out from the head piece. This becomes a distraction to their learning when they are trying to make the cord longer but can't because of the quality of the cord, they are trying to snap earpieces back in place as they fall out while at a listening center or on an electronic device, the loose wires are poking the tops of their heads. Their learning will be enriched and they'll be engaged on the learning content, rather than the headphones that don't allow them to learn something new through listening!
