These books and other materials will give me the tools that I need to better teach my first graders. Since I am a new teacher, I have already put a lot of my own money into my classroom and I am hoping to get more resources from kind donors! I want books to teach them social emotional skills and items to make the classroom feel more like home. I would like to begin to add flexible seating to my classroom so that the students have a comfortable and individualized place to read and learn. They also need a place to organize their things and practice the skills necessary to be successful members of the community.
