Children need to move, even while learning. Donating to this project would provide alternative seating to children who qualify for special services including but not limited to extra help in math, reading, writing, and learning strategies. Flexible seating allows the students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. Flexible seating gives students choice and motivates them to work hard by giving them a fun but functional learning environment. Flexible seating also helps keep young minds more alert and focused. A positive and functional learning environment can be life changing for a struggling student or a student that needs extra support.
