My students will use these materials throughout the entire day. Instead of having a traditional desk and chair, each student will be able to choose a spot that best reflects his/her learning style. Some students focus better while sitting on the floor, perhaps standing up, or moving around. The scoop rockers will provide more support for a student who likes sitting on the floor and will allow him/her to gently rock back and forth. The stability discs will be used at floor spots, but have the added benefit of being a sensory item. By choosing the appropriate seating choice, students will be more engaged with their work.
