Transitional kindergarten will be the first school experience for my students. My hope is to provide access to materials that will allow my students to engage in hands on activities with their classmates during centers. Having access to magna-tiles and pop beads will present my students the opportunity to be creative, to be imaginative and to problem solve. The soft seats will allow my students to find a comfortable reading area as they begin their journey as emerging readers. The alphabet beads will allow them to practice their letter recognition. These tools will provide a memorable and meaningful first year experience for my students and me as a first year teacher :)
