My students need sensory objects and flexible seating to help regulate their bodies in order to learn best. The wobble stools will be used during direct instruction and in our skills centers to help my movers attend and learn. My students require a lot of fidgets and hands-on sensory items to learn best in our classroom. The tools in the project will help my student engage in their learning. Students will be using a functional academics program that will require the other items (cubbies, organizational materials, etc.) Teaching unique and special learners with Autism requires a lot of structure and organization. The organizational materials in this project will color code my students' books and materials. When materials are organized and structured my students better understand their routines. Lastly, the sensory items will support my students' needs for sensory input. They will also encourage and support social development and play. Thank you for all of your help and support with this new program!! My students are incredible and they deserve the best!
