I am a first year 8th grade science and social studies teacher. It is hard to collect all of the necessary things for a classroom in such a short amount of time with a limited budget. This project will give my students a chance to feel more confident in the classroom because flexible seating offers a place to relax while remaining engaged. The rugs will give the zone an extra level of comfort when spread out on the tile floor. Flexible seating has become a growing trend in the educational field for all of the right reasons. Many students need to move around during the class period in order to stay motivated and focused on the content being presented. It would be fantastic to provide a zone in the classroom where my students can move around and not distract the people around them. The wobble seats help many students get rid of the wiggles while at their desks. The chosen bean bag chairs are memory foam which means the students can move around during the class period without being heard. If this project is successful, my students will be able to thrive each day in the classroom! Thanks for your support!
