Fake news this is NOT! I want to teach my students how to read, write, and produce their own student journal and broadcast! We will have weekly broadcasts that will include positive news stories about our students and teachers. The digital video recorders will create an authentic learning environment where my students will learn about responsible journalism. This DonorsChoose.org project will provide two digital video recorders that students will use for interviews, recording digital broadcasts, and filming student theater productions at our school. With your help, I will teach students how to responsibly use digital tools while creating positive news stories for our school! My students are excited to learn journalism and broadcasting this year! You can make this opportunity enriching and authentic for them!
