The Garfield students are a culturally and linguistically diverse group with over half the class learning English language skills. The first grade class is very excited about learning to read and working together in cooperative learning teams. Many of the students are struggling with reading vocabulary, pronunciation, comprehension, and fluency.The better variety of resources we can provide in the classroom provides more inspiring learning center activities for the students to excel in their academic achievements.

About my class
