Students create their own graphic novels by working independently and collaboratively to create their storylines and illustrations. The art supplies will allow the students the ability to design their graphic novels. Teachers are only facilitators as all work is student designed, and brought to life by their imagination. Working in this way, students are more interested and passionate about learning the read/write connection in non-conventional ways by adding imagination and art. Using the sketch paper and pencils, they can bring their art to life. Project-Based Learning allows for students to create, skill build, collaborate, and write to create products worthy of exhibiting. “Innovating students by using paper and pens.”

About my class
