With these seven Amazon Fire Tablets, students would be engaged in educational apps during centers. They will use numerous instructional apps such as Starfall, ABCya, and Lexia to reinforce reading and math concepts. Students will use the tablets to reinforce many skills such as letter recognition, letter identification, letter sounds, number recognition, number identification, one-to-one correspondence, colors, and shapes. Each student will be able to use a variety of learning apps to cater to their individual educational needs. My classroom includes ELLs who are learning English as a second language. The tablets would allow valuable practice with literacy apps. Having tablets in the classroom will provide many opportunities for interactive learning.
