This is the first step into learning job skills through school-based hours. We are starting a morning coffee shop for teachers to order online ice coffee or different flavors of regular coffee. We are turning a small workroom into the Coffee Shoppe. We will use the rack to hang the aprons and shirts for the OCS program to keep them nice and clean. The students will be scheduled just like they would if they had a paying job, clock in and out on the computer. The students will wear the aprons to advertise the Coffee Shoppe is open for business as they are delivering the orders. The older students who have jobs will be the managers, make sure everything is set up for the mornings. Then they will take the orders that the teachers emailed in, post them for the employees (students) to make, then give the delivery students the coffees to deliver to the teachers. At the end of the shift (after school begins), the clean-up crew will do their job to get ready for the next day. There will be a rotation of students each week.
