A comfortable area to learn is important to any child's learning. It is especially important to a child who may not feel comfortable at school already. In ELA Interventions, I work to help every child succeed, meeting them where they are and taking them to where they can reach their fullest potential. Reading is the first step of the journey. I want to create an environment within my room in the form of a reading nook that would allow for my students to practice their reading skills and grow at their own pace. With the addition of the graphic novels, students can practice their reading skills and gain higher comprehension of materials.
