By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. My students will be able to use technology to communicate with others, build community, work on technology projects, and communicate with me digitally on their own time. Some students are nervous when it comes to presenting or talking to the class. Using Chromebooks will allow them to share a presentation they videotape in private. This allows my students to feel comfortable in front of others and builds their confidence to have a voice in the classroom. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not. Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
