My students will use Chromebooks to learn their multiplication and division facts in engaging ways, and with fact fluency, this will prepare them for more complex problems in the upper grades and beyond. Much of our math investigations can be accessed online, and students who have trouble writing legibly can complete assignments on the Chromebooks. The Chromebooks can help close the achievement gap and accommodate different learning styles. Our Writer's Workshop time will be productive as they are able to compose all stages of the writing process using Google Docs . They can collaborate by editing and revising in pairs. Students can practice their phonics, comprehension, number sense, problem solving, and much more on engaging learning sites like Freckle.
