Help my students build their functional independence skills in the kitchen! With a mini fridge, toaster oven, and microwave we can work on kitchen life skills in our classroom!. With the help of a refrigerator, students can work on using a refrigerator and the skill can be carried over to home. With the help of the microwave, students can work on warming their own food up independently. This carries over into math skills because they will need to look at numbers, press and wait for their food to be ready. With the help of the toaster oven, we can work on cooking skills in the classroom. We can make food and students can take the recipes home and cook at home for their families.
