Providing basic school supplies for my kids will hopefully puts more emphasis and attention on learning and comprehension, and not what materials they lack. Colored paper is gold in my department, which will be used for making foldables and copies for their Interactive notebooks. Kids love hands on activities and colored paper makes these projects more appealing and fun to create. Classroom decor and supplies makes our classroom feel comforting and welcoming. Students want to be in a safe learning environment, in which they can flourish. The books will add more of a variety to our classroom library and offer different reading level books for my diverse students. My students are responsible for AR testing, and additional books will help encourage their reading interest.
