These materials will give my students a unique opportunity in the laboratory that most students don't have! While learning about heredity and how genetics are passed from parent to offspring, we will discuss blood types and how they are inherited. With parental consent, students that want to will be given time in the lab to safely go through the complete process of blood typing. They will leave our classroom with a new experience under their belts and knowing their blood type! With these materials, students will be able to apply what they are learning to themselves and their own lives, and these connections are SO important in creating the foundations students need to continue on in high school and college science classes!

About my class
