These materials will make a tremendous difference to my students learning. My students struggle building positive relationships with their peers. The building materials requested will be used to work in small groups to create different objects while building a strong classroom community. I will use the lap desks to begin growing a flexible seating classroom. I have found that my students work the best in small group settings so I intend to use this to help build better relationships within my classroom. Many of my students are not taught the proper skills to communicate and work in teams. Using these STEM centers will help create the foundations and skills needed for them to communicate with one another in a positive way. These projects will help my students become problem solvers and team players. These materials can be integrated during math and science blocks which will give students the hands on learning that allows them to thrive and show their full potential. My students deserve all of these materials to help shape and grow their young curious minds.
