My students rely on visuals throughout their entire day. Their needs include visual schedules, social stories, step by step instructions for all their daily activities, cue cards and their adapted academic lessons. Having a color copier to produce visuals that aid in the students learning process would help support their daily needs. Colored visual aids are much more than aesthetically appealing, colors can be used as a specific learning cue. Colors are used to link tasks that need to be completed by individual students, to the time of day and the area of the room the tasks are to be completed in. Colored visual cues are essential in setting an environment to ensure educational success for the students.
