Creativity is the soft skill every human needs to be successful. Understanding other cultures helps us become well-rounded citizens. The arts bring those skills to all students. In K-5th-grade art classes, we’ll study famous painters, color theory, and practice watercolor techniques. We’ll paint landscapes, florals, faux stained glass, and on ceramics. We’ll learn the ancient art of dyeing wool, combing, and create fiber art on a personal clothing item or felt. We’ll learn how to display our artworks and proudly share our creations with the community. That’s just the start, the non-consumable materials will last for many years. Thank you for supporting our youngest artists.
