This rug will allow my students to come together during our morning Grounded and Connected time. This is a time when we are able to express feelings, empathize for each other, and build compassion and understanding for others. This will be a place where students will also be able to learn about ways to cope with their emotions and feelings in order to help with their social and emotional well being. We will also use this rug as an alternative seating arrangement during math class, where students will be able to sit on the rug or at their seats during the lessons. This will give them a comfortable space to provide the best learning environment for them.

About my class
