These materials will provide my students the opportunity to soar in 1st Grade. When students are comfortable they’re more available to learn. Materials such as wobble stools help my students with attention difficulties channel their energy in a positive way so they can focus their brain on the learning at hand. Couches, lap desks, and floor chairs allow students to find positions for their bodies that allow them to focus their attention on their learning. These flexible seating options also provide natural collaboration opportunities where students can learn and grow from one another. They will create a bright and welcoming classroom that will naturally foster their love of learning. It’ll be a classroom they’ll never forget!
