All students want to learn in a fun environment! Having flexible seating in a classroom makes learning not only fun, but effective. Each child will get to learn in his/her own way through flexible seating. Some students prefer sitting in a chair, some on a stool, and others on a floor. If we have a carpet, this will give students the opportunity to sit comfortably with their peers to do group work, work independently, or even sitting during a small group lesson. Having a carpet in our classroom will also give our students the opportunity to gather as a family/community! During small group instruction I would love to have an area where students can gather to listen and talk with each other. Please help our classroom so we can have the opportunity to give my students a fun year filled with learning!
