Interactive digital teaching involves the teaching moving around the class and integrating technology into each lesson. With a MS Surface Pro I will be able to move around the room and both simultaneously teaching new math concepts as well as assessing the students' understanding while moving around the room. I will no longer be tied to the board as the Surface allows me the freedom to move about the room. Also, I can hand the Surface to the student for them to do a problem instead of walking up to the board which may cause them anxiety. Being close to the students keeps them learning and increasing the chances of them interacting with the lesson. In addition, I can easily make instructional videos with the Surface to help my students review and learn new concepts that they can see on their own devices.
