At my school, we hold all our scholars to high standards. When scholars meet these standards, we want to reward them. I'm requesting stickers, pencil erasers, slap bracelets, and Play-Doh. In Kindergarten, scholars earn "scholar dollars" throughout the week based on attendance, behavior, homework completion, and computer work completion. They use money to shop at our classroom's mall once a week. Scholars have to learn about saving versus spending when purchasing items with different prices, thus the range in incentives on our project list. Additionally, scholars move up a door clip chart based on behavior and by the end of the week have the opportunity to pick something from the class treasure chest based on where they land on the chart. There is also a homework incentive system, where scholars can choose something from the homework treasure chest if they completed their homework every night of the week.
