Research is showing students need more time engaged in creative play and social interactions. These tools will give my students a daily opportunity to do just that! These STEM based building tools will be put into morning tubs that students will use to start their day. Partners or small groups will use a tub with tools such as the Picasso Tiles or Brain Flakes. They will work together to engineer anything their little brains can envision as well as socially interact with one another, building essential interpersonal skills. Beginning the day in this way will help to foster a creative classroom community filled with little engineers!
