These supplies are specifically for students who are going to college next year. Many come from families who struggle to financially support them. In preparing to go to college for the first time, I think a lot of people can reflect on how much fun they had purchasing office supplies and the essentials for their new dorm room. In donating to this project, students will be given the essentials for classroom success in college, such as binders, folders, sticky notes, and notebooks so they can organize their work and information for college classes. One lucky senior will also be given a laptop computer to be able to conduct research and complete homework assignments. These supplies are tools students can use in college to be organized, prepared, and more successful. These supplies will be given to students during our Decision Day event and each student who has been accepted to a college or university will have a chance to win these prizes. My students deserve much more than they have been given, so it is my goal to be able to provide a few students with tools that will help them to be successful as they begin their new journey and continue their education. Will you help us achieve this goal?
