With these robotic boxes, teen students will be exposed to and become skilled with building and programming so that they may envision themselves as technologically savvy creators. Giving Title I students the opportunity to level the field of understanding coding and construction, aid in guiding their future coursework, directed towards steam goals in employment. Our teens are noticeably more engaged when they compete and build robots, gaining emotional strength by the give and take mentality of team planning and development. After a semester of building, testing and revamping, the second semester will focus on the competitive angle to engage teens.

About my class
