These materials will enhance my classroom in both organization and style. When students come in and see that their learning environment for the year is a clean, nicely decorated, clutter free, and organized space they are excited. They sense they can be successful in such a place. Students will I also have a place to cool down if need be, hence the bean bag chairs. This will be called our “Cool It Corner.” This is a safe space inside the classroom that will allow them to sit alone for a couple of minutes and gather their thoughts if they are having a bad day or just if they need a moment. Children as well as adults deal with issues too.

About my class
