These flexible seating options will make a difference in my students' learning because they will have the choice to sit on different types of seats. Most of my students need to move around and they should be able to sit where they are most comfortable to create a more meaningful work environment for them. Last year I allowed my students to move as needed so they could work in an area they were most comfortable in. I noticed an increase in focusing. Some students need that little extra movement while they are working. I only had tables or my rug for them move to while working. This year I would like to incorporate more seating options to make an even bigger impact in student learning. I want my students to feel comfortable and also know they have the ability to move as needed to help enhance their learning without being disruptive.
