With this adjustable table and set of floor chairs, my kiddos will have an opportunity to be grounded and feel comfortable in their learning environment. This will give me the chance to adapt my classroom to meet the needs of any child that comes in. These will allow some of my students who can’t focus in a traditional desk-and-chair set-up the chance to refocus their engagement to learning and interacting with their peers. Some kids really can’t “do school” when they are so fixated on fidgeting and trying to be comfortable in their environment. These chairs will help those kids to find a spot to work, have some sensory input to ease their anxieties, and help them get ready to learn.
